We have a magnificent etched glass horse drawn funeral hearse which was custom made for Sedgemoor Shires by a close friend.The hearse is a traditional black with silver side rails and etched glass. ( A white hearse may be available with prior notice.)

Our horse drawn carriages are normally pulled by a pair of Shire Horses and unlike most companies we use the traditional neck collar as harness not breast. We just feel that this adds to the feeling of that bygone era.

At Sedgemoor we have 3 teams to choose from a pair of grey (white) black or bay horses. Which ever you choose will be turned out immaculate(Horses subject to availability on the day of request).

The hearse can accommodate your flowers and most other items that you my wish to travel with your loved ones (size depending). It really is a one off hearse and we at Sedgemoor pride ourselves in knowing that when you book with us, your family become our family.
